Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino’s HR & Training Departments understood the taxing efforts of creating, scheduling, training, reporting and tracking annually required training for hundreds of employees in a classroom setting, so they implemented online training in 2018 with Vector Learning Management System (LMS) (formerly CELEXA, a Casino Essentials brand) to streamline and manage property-wide training in a secure LMS. They are currently training over 100 courses including: Title 31 courses, Leadership courses, COVID-19 Safety courses, IT & General Security courses, Customer Loyalty courses, HR Compliance courses and their custom content. The HR & Training Departments rely on Vector Solutions to simplify their team’s training schedules and verify completion status on all team member’s mandatory training.

Upload Custom Content to Train, Track & Report Everything in One Place
The Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino understood the burden of training employees in-person. The time it took to create, train, track and report the required training was immeasurable. The HR & Training Department saw the need to expand their online training courses and how it revolutionized their current process for training their employees. When Vector LMS for Casinos was initially implemented, Manzano and Conway reflected, “We started out with using Vector Solutions to support our Title 31 training requirements. Since then we have expanded to include all of our regulatory training and all leadership development training. We also purchase or custom designed leadership courses customarily trained in-person during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Administrators in Vector LMS for Casinos have the capability of uploading custom PowerPoints, Surveys, Form Acknowledgements and Memos. Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino utilize every custom option available. Manzano’s goal for expanding their library of courses to include pre-built Vector Solutions courses and their own custom content in Vector LMS for Casinos was simple, “…to reduce the burden of scheduling team members to attend training sessions that did not always coincide with their work schedule. Vector LMS for Casinos Improves Training & Tracking for Annually Required Courses
Not only did Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino expand their course library, they also implemented a New Hire Matrix to include their in-person trainings. Administrators in Vector LMS for Casinos can create classroom lessons. Employees can be assigned to a certain date/time and set a customized location for the classroom training. With this feature, administrators can manage everything from Vector LMS for Casinos by marking the status of the employees classroom completion and reporting from the same dashboard that is used for online training. Manzano shares the process, “Vector LMS for Casinos automatically assigns required training [through the Training Matrix] and all training has one system of record. Reporting on regulatory training required for new hires and existing team members is now tracked in one location.”
Tracking and reporting has significantly streamlined for the HR & Training Department at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino since implementing all trackable employee training and acknowledgements, completed in-person and online to the LMS. All casinos are responsible to hold their records of training for several years and share their records with regulatory officials to audit their AML program. Manzano and Conway agrees, “The tracking and reporting functionality has helped to expedite the auditing of required training and reporting to our regulatory partners.”
